I am not bailing out on my blog! Really, I am not. I have been slaving away in the ER since Tuesday and I havent had a break!
Today, I had a re-certification class for ACLS, it was an ok class, got kind of monotonous at the end but I passed and now its behind me for 2 more years. I have one more re-certification class on the 23rd and the 24th and it is even more tedious, but once its over, I can breathe a little easier until fall.
The full moon has brought its share of wackos into the ER this week, I think as the economy gets worse the people get stranger. I think we are all getting a little on edge because we cant please these people, no matter what we do. I am beginning to think we need some form of organized public healthcare just to help remind people that a sore throat or an earache is not as serious as someone who cannot breathe or who is bleeding profusely. And if the sore throat people have to wait in the waiting room until an exam room is open, that is just too bad. They will live, the other patients who seriously have an emergency may not.
SOMETHING has to happen, and sooner than later or our entire healthcare system is going to collapse...
On a lighter note, I am learning to be a farmer.. on FACEBOOK! LOLOL Blame Debbie A, she is the one responsible for getting me hooked on this. Its like facebook-farm-crack or something. LOL I just planted strawberries and tomatoes, if you belong to facebook and havent tried it, you should. No wait, on 2nd thought maybe you had better not, you wont get anything else done!
Happy good friday to you all, and have a blessed Easter! I am off to plow!

I do think the full moon brings out the crazies. We definitely report more crazy stories around this time of the month. And the economy doesn't help either.
Is that the Lil Green Patch application? Peple keep sending me requests for it and I keep ignoring them. I have barely enough time to go on to update my status let along cultivate a garden. :)
Oh and last time I was in the ER was when I had Bell's Palsy and I remember I got seen before someone there with a sliver in their finger. And that person complained a blue streak until the nurse finally yelled at him that he could wait a few more minutes for her to get the tweezers, right after she made sure I hadn't just had a stroke, or he could promptly go into traffic and make himself a higher priority on his own by playing in traffic. I think she had had a long night, this was at 3 AM.
I am NOT even going to try and start something else on the computer. I am staying up way to late as it is to play stupid games. My new one??? Fishdom!
I love this game.
tonjia...congrats on the re-certification and good luck on the upcoming one.
I work in a garden center, so my FB garden is on hold for a while!
The full moon wackos are out! I agree with you, the economy is causing the worst in people to dominate. I had a customer get upset with me, because we would not go to her house and plant her HomeDepot Forsythia! Oh my!
Happy Easter!

Glad you are recertified. At the hospital and getting to be a certified FARMER! I'm totally addicted. I think it will be blogging and farming for awhile. I love rearranging the trees and moving junk around LOL. So much easier than working outside LOL LOL!
Healthcare? Definitely needs to be organized. I have Government healthcare from the A.F. and it's perfect. Nothing wrong with it!
I feel for you, hon and you are an unsung ER hero!
Doh. I played with my Facebook farm until I was able to make a dragonfly out of trees and then I quit. ; ) Leaving perfection alone!
Just the mention of the ER makes me sad with bad memories...so I will leave it at that. Thanks for what you do.
