And the Verdict Is...

Breanna is coming home. She had a long appointment with the people at Mini Reed this morning and they recommended that she go ahead and separate. She is ready. I think I am ready too.

She is still having dizziness, headaches and weakness in her legs. As soon as she comes home she will be getting a CT scan of her head.

No more news about when she will arrive. She will have to be briefed and out processed, it could take a week or longer.

SO. (take a deep breath mom) this chapter is soon to be over. What comes next? I have an email in to the PR officer for the 90th detachment of ROTC in Ft Collins Colorado. We have to find out if she can join ROTC in August. According to mini reed she will be given an administrative discharge and will be able to come back as an officer but not reinlist...

Do I peel the "My daughter is in the Air Force" bumper sticker off of my car??? :-(

I will keep the blog updated.

I think I need a drink. (and I dont drink)

Wow, Tonjia, I don't know exactly what to say except I am sending you a HUG! I know it has been a long and twisting road for you and Bre and the AF and I am sure you guys are both ready for a break but I hate it that it is over. I thought sure this time was gonna end with a BMT grad. I understand though. You are still a BMT AF Mom with lots to offer, so don't leave us, k? I cant wait to hear all about Bre's new journey that she is getting ready to lead. I know it will be a successful one. I don't drink much either but I would love to share that drink with ya!

I think we both need a drink tonight, Love. Please let Breanna know that our thoughts are with her in whatever choices she makes for her future.
After what she's been through so far the rest will seem like a cakewalk!
Sending you warm thoughts and much love,
Lea

Oh gosh..the music! Yes, tears and smiles here. No, do NOT take the bumper sticker off! And stay with the group because August will be here before you know it.

I don't drink either, but I'm giving Bre a big "salud" for effort, courage and strength!

Sending big hugs!

Wow I know this is hard to handle. I am glad that the decision was made though, so no more worrying and so on. I will be thinking of you all, I know this was hard on you all. Take care!
