News on the horizon..

Its a little early to say what, but one thing I can say, it doesnt involve the Navy. Breanna has done a lot of soul searching lately and she has come to a conclusion.

She isnt joining the Navy. She just isnt Navy material. They have been great to her and made arrangements to waive her in, but she doesnt feel right about going to the Navy. I am not sure this makes much sense to anyone except for those of you out there who have kids in the military, but they dedicate their heart, life and soul to a branch and it is very very difficult to wear another uniform.

She decided that it wasnt wise to just join the Navy for the basic reason of being in a branch of the military, thats not why you join. You join because you want to serve and you want to BE in that branch.

She will always be an airman in her heart.

SO.. future plans are a'changing. I will update you on this more later on in the week.

I am off to bed, I think I have been hit by a large truck, or maybe a UPS van, repeatedly over the last 4 days.

Final count..... hours worked = 53 in 4 days. holy shit.

Well first...you get some well deserved rest!

I'm glad Bre is re-thinking and taking time to sort things out. There is NO rush to decide one's future...

Get some rest. She needs to do what makes her happy. She doesn't want to get stuck in something she isn't happy with.

Is she able to request a waiver from the Air Force based on her medical records? How about a correction of her military records? I agree with her though. She is an Airman at heart and too bad the Air Force does not realize that. Rest now lady!

You know, I understand what you are saying. Not that one is better than the other, but when you have your heart set on one, why settle for something else. I feel the same way about law enforcement. There are several different ares or types of law enforcement, one must do what makes them happy.

(((hugs))) i'm glad Bre is doing her soul searching and she will find what fits her best to do! If she doesn't have her heart into the Navy then yeah, it's probably not meant to be! Glad to hear she'll take her time and decide on things, no point in rushing!!!!!! Get some rest!

I hear what you are saying. I look at these pictures and think back to times and wish I could have do overs. Not that I would change anything, I just want to do it again. There might be some things I would do differently. Like maybe not put so much time into work. I am going to be a fantastic grandmother!!

Holy shit is right, Tonjia! That is a massively large amount of hours in a teeny little span of time...

I don't know a whole lot about it, but I can say this...I am so glad for your Bre that she is able to think things through and know what is right for her; lots of people NEVER get to that point!

Welcome back??? ...
