I took this picture while standing in the side yard of our home in PA.
Rainbows hold a special meaning for me, as basset hound rescuers, our family believes in the "Rainbow Bridge".
Simply put, we believe that when one of our beloved 4 leggers pass away, they go to one side of the rainbow bridge, where they will wait, free from pain, aging and illness, until we pass on, at which time they will meet us and we will walk across the bridge together.
So, this picture reminds me that our Harley and Reggie are both at the bridge, running free, waiting for our arrival. We miss you boys...

Tonjia: What a great rainbow from my home state. Hope you get in the game earlier next week.
Such a pretty rainbow. I love the shot at the top of your blog too, breathtaking!

I have been aware for awhile now of the Rainbow Bridge... it's nice to see it making it onto Sky Watch.. thank you
Tom
That was very sad. I know how much pain you must feel. The rainbow bridge is in our future and I don't look forward to it one bit. But your rainbow picture is very peaceful and beautiful.

Those guys are so cute! And I love your story about rainbows. I was always told that rainbows hold the souls of those who left us. And to me that would include our beloved pets too.

I didn't get to comment on any SWF so I'm late too...oh my...shame on us!!
