1. What did you do that you'd never done before? Joined the blogging community
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I didnt make a new years resolution in 2008, and I wont make one this year, I break them too easily.
3. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008? peace of mind at work and a feeling that I really like what I do.
4. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory? February 15, the day Breanna was discharged from the Air Force. And January 11, the day we had to send our basset Reggie to the bridge.
5. Did you suffer illness or injury? Nothing out of the ordinary.
6. What was the best thing you bought? This one is easy, my Blackberry storm! :-)
7. Where did most of your money go? To bills! This year we bought my new Escape and it is a chunk more than I was paying on my Jeep.
8. What did you get really, really excited about? Breanna coming home, goint to Las Vegas and going to the Ute casino.
9. Compared to this time last year, are you: a) happier or sadder? b) thinner or fatter? c) richer or poorer? a) happier. b) fatter, but just by about 8lbs c) poorer. I took a huge cut in pay to go to day shift.
10. What do you wish you'd done more of? Laughed
11. What do you wish you'd done less of? Worked
12. How will you be spending New Years? As usual, working in the ER.
13. Did you fall in love in 2008? yes, with Frankie. He makes me happy. I am always in love with Dana.
14. How many one-night stands? unless you mean the night stands that sit next to the bed.. none
15. What was your favourite TV program? oh this one is easy. BONES!!!
16. What was the best book you read? Sail by Richard Patterson
17. What did you want and get? My Ipod and my new laptop
18. What did you want and not get? A cruise to the carribbean!
19. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? Dana took me to the Ute mountain casino, so we gambled!! We also went to Mesa Verde. I was 51..
20. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008? casual and comfortable! I dont dress up!
21. What kept you sane? prayer, Dana and Bre. With a little help from Cymbalta.
22. What political issue stirred you the most? John McCains choice of a running mate! Sarah Palin? I mean are you freaking serious?? I am not even a John McCain supporter, why should it matter to me? LOLOL
23. Who was the best new person you met? Some of my favorite online friends, Debbie, Lisa, Kim-d, Hallie, Michelle, this list could go on and on. Some of the gals from the AF mom and dad group too, I miss them all..
24. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008: I knew this before, but 2008 has reminded me that it is of utmost importance to live each day as if it were your last. Tell your loved ones that you love them frequently, and dont forget to dance the dance.....

I'm glad you did the survey, too--good answers. Next year, we can fill it out for 2009 and compare with 2008. I agree so much about telling people that you love them...
i had to laugh at the one night stand answer it is fantastic!!!!!
I have a sinus infection brewing... am not happy with that... sore throat sore ears...coughing up lovely thick yellow junk... Pout... having my obligatory bowl of chicken noodle soup... and then probably heading back to bed :)
