We have an epidemic of Norwalk Virus here in our county. It started in the nursing homes, and spread like wildfire to people who have visited the nursing homes, or who work in the nursing homes, and now it is just rampant in the community.
Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, body aches. And I have it. We took care of TONS of patients over the weekend with this and today, the one nurse that worked with me this weekend came in sick this morning, and went home around 9:00am. It hit me about 11:30. I will spare you the details, but I left work with a RX for medication to stop vomiting and no one would get around me! LOL
It is a pesky virus, I wash my hands until they bleed and I still got it. That usually doesnt happen to me.
OK, I am off to lay in my chair. Now is when I wish I had one of those N-A-P blankies....

ohhhh how horrid... Thank God it cant come through the computer ... I can recall times of quarrentine (sp) in the nursing homes from flu virus and other nasties... and once from dang TB... that was a bummer in a big way everyone had to be retested TWICE and all visitors kept out.
Hope you feel better QUICKLY!
hugs Laura
I have the same thing! It is AWFUL; I don't know where I got it, but I guess it is going around here, too. The N-A-P blankie here has been working triple time. Ugh.
ICK. All you sickos better not infect the blog world!!
Hallie :)
It is EVERYWHERE this year. Feel better.
Feel better soon! I'm trying to hide out from it. And I think I want a light blue N A P blanket as bad as Hallie wants her Prada purse. Someone get on that will ya? lol
I'm so sorry you are not feeling well...at all. Now that explains why you have not emailed me the recipes of your goodies. Hope you getting to feeling better SOON, and keep the virus there will ya?
Ooooooh Nooooo! I always wondered how the people who take care of the sick folks keep from getting sick themselves. I guess they don't. Sorry. Hope you feel better soon. Did you tell Santa that you wanted the blanket? He can't get it for you if he doesn't know.
