Is the blogworld falling apart?

I belong to Facebook and I see several of my blogging friends on there. In fact, these days its becoming more and more common for me to see them on Facebook and not on blogger.

Dont get me wrong, I like Facebook. It is fast and I have found people that I thought I had lost touch with forever, but blogging is where I can really say what I feel, let my hair down so to speak and say whats on my mind.

I dont blame them at all for posting more on Facebook than on blogger, but I miss them and I miss reading their blogs. And its not just one person, its several.

What do you guys think? Is blogworld in danger? Are we losing our blogfriends to other social networks?

I hope not.

I don't think so. For me facebook is too crowded. There are so many things to read at once. I still like the blogs, one per family, to keep up with my friends.

I hope not as well. I'm just not 'into' facebook. I'll take my blog & the blogging community over FB, any day!

Oh, Tara, I hope not! I am "on" Facebook, but just barely--and I know it's not going to be anymore than that, ever. If you just want to say something real quick to someone, Facebook is okay (I guess), but it will never take the place of a blog. Not for me, at least. Through my blog, I have found people that I consider friends, which would never be possible on Facebook which, to me, seems like it works best for people one already knows. Yup, I'll be the one hanging on, known as the last blogger...BWAHAHAHA!

I am on facebook, but DON'T facebook. Oh maybe everyonce in a while. But I am just not doing stuff on the computer as much. It seems my interest are just wandering on to other things. I do more reading than blogging. don't know, maybe I am bored! I am ready for more photography classes!!

I hardly ever actually visit the Facebook website. I do all of my status updates via my phone. So I am still around. But I know what you mean, I have seen the shift too.

I know a lot of people are on Facebook, but I'm not. I leave FB to my grandkids. It seems that's their social network. I will stick with blogger! This is where my friends are!

I currently seem to be everywhere, but I hope FB doesn't take over. I just got really comfortable with Blogger! I do love Farm Town on FB so I can have a "pretend" garden. LOL

I manage to keep in touch with a few more people that I don't normally, so that's good.

Hell, I don't know LOL
