I stumbled onto this website while surfing around. And this just HAS to be the answer for Americas obesity problem... NOT! These are dishes that people have cooked up and sent in to the website. I am gagging as I post.
Check out these monstrocities:
This is called McSurf-n-turf. It is a McDonalds filet-of-fish sandwich inside of a quarter pounder with cheese!
Fried Chicken skin. OMG do people really eat this???
Scotch egg on a stick-a hard boiled egg on a stick, wrapped in sausage, rolled in breadcrumbs, then deep fried.
and the grand finale... Deep fried pepperoni pizza!

OK I confess, I've had a scotch egg! Well, only a piece of one. My hubby's family is from England and it's a traditional favorite of theirs. The rest of it? ICK!!
Okay, even with being the garbage gut that I am? Most of this stuff? Not a chance! DEEP-FRIED PEPPERONI PIZZA? OMG! And I can't even think about that McSurf-N-Turf thing because I get a little urpy just thinking about it. WAIT! The McSurf-N-Turf could be the ticket to weight loss for me! BWAHAHAHA!
I just love what they deep fry these days. Snickers, pickles, ding dongs, twinkies, and so on, and so on... Yuck!
Welcome back from your trip, hope it was good.
Susan
I am not the best eater but YUCK! None of this appealed to me. I can't stand fired things. And while I will eat the skin off my chicken when I have chicken, just a meal of fried skin? NO THANK YOU!
Well, I am definitely not hungry any more. Not at all. Thanks - right before I read this, I was seriously considering a snack, but not anymore. I should bookmark this post and refer to it daily!
I saw this on CNN and almost barfed. Just gross, ugh puke...
11 minutes to 24 :)
I'm spending all my time catching up with you. Aren't I nice? I do have to pee though.
10 minutes to go....
Yuk except for the chicken skin. I do love some good fried chicken skin but I usually eat it with the piece of chicken, not as a separate item.
