Twitter??

Can someone PLEASE tell me what the obsession is with Twitter nowadays? What exactly is it and why would I want to join?

It may be something that I need to do. LOL I have never checked it out because I am resisting the urge. But if I were more informed, then maybe I would want to do it... And what is "tweeting?"

I am thinking that I dont want people to know what I am doing every second of every day.

Do you guys twitter?

I don't twitter either and I do not know what tweeting is. I have enough problems trying to keep up with the blogs and facebook.

From what I understand, Twitter is like a constant 'status update' thing, sort of like Facebook, but only short bits of info. Tweeting is what they call it, as in, one tweets on twitter.

I'm resisting it, too. I can barely update Facebook every few days. If nobody ever talked to me first on FB, I'd never even do that! And believe me, NOBODY wants to know what I'm doing every second of the day!

Oh goodness, now I know for sure I am getting old. But it was funny.
don't be looking for me on Twitter, I won't be joining!

Did it for about 3 days and then just lost interest. It's just too much to deal with.

Btw... love that we are all together in your dreams!! Bet we were having fun!!

I was on Twitter before Facebook and love it! In fact I find it a lot easier to use than Facebook since I can use it totally through my phone. A lot of stuff on Facebook I have to actually go to the site to do, which I can't do at work and don't have the time to do. So if you don't do all the extra stuff on Facebook like all the applications etc. then Twitter is for you. You can also get a Twitter app on Facebook and link them if you want, but I have not done that.

I tried Twitter before FB. I still occasionally tweet. I'm beginning to think all this blogging, FB and "birding" it up is seriously affecting my brain.
