As natives around here when we say, "the frost is on the pumpkin". We know that we are talking about early onset cold weather, and watch out for your vegetables! They are gonna freeeze.
It did..... 25 degrees this morning at approx 8:00am! You can accumulate a fair bit of frost in temps like these. Yesterday it was 29. Cold weather has descended on the high desert/mountain region of Western Colorado and there is nothing we can do about it. The skies are, as usual, clear and blue without significant clouds present.
OMG I LOVE this weather!
Our hounds on the other hand, are not so appreciative of this beautiful weather. Max is trying to find any sunny spot in which to lay and Frankie is begging for his sweaters. They will adjust.
And I have to unpack my winter clothes! YAAAY!
I work tonight so I dont know when I will have a post tomorrow, I havent worked a Monday night in over a year, this is so weird to me! I may not know what day it is come tomorrow, wish me luck!

Bring on that cooler weather! yee-haw!
Wow, you guys like it cold there!! We are still in the 30's here. Had some snow not far from here this past weekend. (didn't stay on the ground tho)
I am glad you like candles. I love Farmchicks candles, they are the best!! Farmchick and I have been friends for years, so I am a seasoned candle fan of hers. I just cannot say enough about them. Check out her candle website if you haven't.
Take care, good luck!

No frost here on the Connecticut shore, but it sure is a beautiful Fall! Have fun at work;)
It has cooled off here too. Not like there though! But the dogs have become all snuggly and I like it :). Even if they are using us to keep warm lol. Have fun at work, hope it is an easy night for you.
Have I missed something?? Why are you working on a Monday? Did you change shifts or something???? I think we are suppose to get your cold weather in the next day or two? I don't mind the "cooler" weather but I don't want COLD. I will be checking on you so post when you can.
I actually had to break out my sweaters! Although it is only in the 60's here down to the 40's at night. But that is cold for the desert!
OMG! We're still sweating bullets here. lol
