I believe that there is something about having a pet that makes ones soul complete. Many things in my life make me happy, but one of the special things is my little black wiener, Frankie.
One year ago this week, we picked up our little guy, all 3# and 4 oz of him, and welcomed him into our family. He brings us all such joy.
I hope that you all have known the happiness that a pet can bring into your life. We wouldnt be without one..
This pic is for Hallie, she will know why. ;-)

I hope these Doxie pics make you smile. Have a great night everyone

Our pets are members of our families and they bring such joy and unconditional love I can't imagine not having one. I love my two girls and am so happy to have them every single day. Even when I have to pick their poop off the floor.
tonjia...beautiful post! Being an empty-nester, my mutt has become my new buddy! As you stated, they do complete ones soul.
~AirmanMom returning to her blog...
yep pets are fantabulous!
somedays they are much better than TEENS! LOL.
My three boxers are the love of my life. I love my two legged kids, but my four legged ones never ASK for money, roll their eyes at me, get mad at me and hurt my feelings. But just the opposite... they are ALWAYS happy to see me, the slime me with kisses EVERYTIME they see me, they love me no matter what mood I am in, and I just can not imagen my life without them. Even though I know that day will come, I don't think about it, for I truly love them more than words can say. Do you hear Zoe snorring? She is right here behind me, Rudy is at my feet asleep and Callie...laying next to Zoe, all waiting for me to go to bed and they will go to their bed. But otherwise..right here they will stay!
Doxie pics always make me smile! I'll be posting my wirehair doxies' pics in their Halloween costumes soon.
we do 4 times better than your frankie...our speeding, sandy, duke, sadie.....yes they are a joy, and with my birds and cat, i feel pretty lucky
If I can fit it into my budget (vet) I am definitely replacing Maggie (lost a year ago). I need someone to need me and welcome me with kisses and wag their tail. I had to add the last part so you wouldn't confuse this with a MAN. LOL Although they do wag their tail occasionally don't they?? :)
